Descensus Christi ad inferos. La inclusión (imposible) del fantasma en la economía de la salvación

Resumen

En este artículo nos proponemos demostrar que para los hebreos y griegos de la Antigüedad el mundo de los muertos, en su sentido neutro (no moral), es decir como sheol o hadēs, representa una dimensión más allá de lo divino y de lo humano, inasimilable por la cristología dogmática. Sostendremos que el descensus ad inferos de Cristo, en esta perspectiva, es el dispositivo elaborado por la teología (proto)ortodoxa, ya desde los primeros siglos, para conjurar el dominio imaginal y fantasmático de los muertos.
