Abstract

The impact produced by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has questioned not only public policies and state capacities to react simultaneously at various levels, but also the ways of intervening in priority situations in contexts of preventive and compulsory social isolation, such as of preventive and mandatory social distancing and in the consequent "legacy" that we are facing today. As a Social Worker and university professor, our processes were not left out: the problems of this historical moment and the social upheavals we are witnessing require a constant review of our practices in Primary Health Care. Based on their personal stories, political commitment, professional training, and national and popular thought, both Ramon Carrillo and Rodolfo Kusch invite us to reflect today on their contributions.
