History of the Journal

The Revista de Historia Universal appeared for the first time in 1988 as an annual publication of the Institute of Universal History of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National University of Cuyo, under the direction of Dr. Nelly Ongay with the support of the Publications Commission.

From the direction of Prof. Esp. Silvina Peluc and currently, under the direction of Dr. Viviana Boch, a new phase of semi-annual publication begins with a new Editorial Committee and Scientific Committee. It emerges with the aim of recreating and promoting a space for dissemination, theoretical debate and constant historiographic review of articles or research advances typical of Universal History and related disciplines.
