Abstract

En el mes de noviembre de 2024 se llevó a cabo el “I Congreso Argentino de Conservación de Colecciones Científicas”, en el Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales “Bernardino Rivadavia” (CONICET), de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, al que se sumaron para su organización miembros representantes de algunos de los museos relevantes del país, como el Museo de La Plata (Facultad de Ciencias Naturales, Universidad Nacional de La Plata), el Museo Etnográfico “Juan B. Ambrosetti” (UBA), el Museo de Farmacobotánica “Juan A. Domínguez” y el Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle de París y de la Red de Museos UBA. El Comité Organizador estuvo conformado por: S. Di Lorenzo, V. Jeria, I. Legari, G. Mayoni, A. Péquignot, M. M. Reca, S. Tancoff, P. Teta y N. Valentini. El encuentro contó con el apoyo de la Fundación Williams y de la Fundación Bunge y Born, que hicieron posible el otorgamiento de becas de asistencia a profesionales de diferentes provincias de Argentina.
