Abstract

Since the declaration of the mandatory quarantine in Argentina, the course of Covid-19 was narrated by the National Government and the media not only through words but also, and perhaps in equal measure, through still and moving images. The objective of this work is to apply, to these technical productions, a series of theoretical frameworks belonging to art and social sciences, with the purpose of interpreting the visuality of the phenomenon that concerns us in an integral/interdisciplinary way. We conclude by highlighting the use of images as a substantive element in the narration of the disease.
