Granuloma anular generalizado, a propósito de un caso

Abstract

Granuloma annulare is a benign, non-infectious granulomatous entity that generally has a chronic course. It is classified into four types: localized, perforating, subcutaneous, and generalized. This last type typically manifests in women over 50 years of age, mostly associated with metabolic disorders such as diabetes and hypothyroidism, and in some cases, with neoplasms. We report the case of a male patient with generalized granuloma annulare associated with dyslipidemia, due to the infrequency of this presentation.
