Clinical Cases – Make your Diagnosis – Clinical Case Conferences – Mini Cases

Clinical Cases: Detailed case presentations followed by diagnostic evaluations. The case should be of interest due to a novel clinical or diagnostic concept, an unusual association, or a new perspective on a lesser-known condition. A brief literature review may be included.

Make Your Diagnosis: Cases presented in a format that invites the reader to make a presumptive diagnosis, with the final resolution provided at the end. These may start with an image or clinical photograph.

Clinical Case Conferences: Presentation of one or more clinically relevant patient cases, structured as a hospital-based case conference. Includes multiple expert opinions and a brief literature review.

Continuing Medical Education

Articles addressing medical education at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, including methodological, technical, practical, and ethical issues. Topics may involve legislation, deontology, professional values, informed consent, healthcare provider-patient relationships, professionalism, and contributions from other health and education-related disciplines.

Images in Medicine

Images of clinical or diagnostic interest, especially those with unusual or atypical features. A concise case description and a brief literature review should accompany each image.

Narrative Medicine

This section features personal experiences, short essays, reflective stories, and other narrative pieces that offer insight into the human side of medicine.

Great Figures in Argentine Medicine

Profiles of outstanding individuals whose contributions and personal virtues—such as service, dedication, altruism, and compassion—serve as models for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Letters or Comments from Readers

Brief letters commenting on the journal's editorial policies, offering critiques or observations on published articles, or sharing relevant personal experiences. If the letter refers to a published article, the original author may be invited to respond. Submissions may be edited for clarity and to fit the journal’s format.

Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor may include professional reflections, brief scientific communications, or commentary on topics related to bioethics, humanities, or medical education.
