History of the journal
The magazine has exceeded fifty years of existence, which reflects the extensive history of this publication, with a First Era that spans from 1965 to 1983, under the name of CUYO. Anuario de Historia del Pensamiento Argentino, and a Second Era that includes from 1984 to the present, with the name of CUYO. Anuario de Filosofía Argentina y Americana, indicative of a thematic expansion and a new institutional belonging. The magazine was founded and directed by Prof. Emeritus Diego F. Pró from its beginnings in 1965 until the double volume 10/11 of the Second Era, later from the following volume 12, published in 1995, its director began to be the Dr. Clara Alicia Jalif de Bertranou and since volume 33 of 2016 its director is Dr. Dante Ramaglia.
