This article explores the technological dystopias of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Erewhon or the Other Side of the Mountains by Samuel Butler based on Francis Fukuyama’s readings of the former. In this way, different posthumanist horizons and perspectives about the technological impact on the human form are confronted. In particular, regarding digital technologies, the transformations in artificial intelligence investigated by Eric Sadin are analyzed. The hypothesis is that, in this last stage, Erewhon’s dystopian prognosis tends to materialize through biological robots.
