Abstract

This paper is the first in a series of three. Basically we endeavor here to develop the main plan of Iamblichus Protrepticus towards a more coherent plan of Aristotle´s Protrepticus. We try to carry out an outline and reorganization of this ancient writing not related to a neoplatonic speculation, but with a bias of philosophical thinking nearer to Aristotle and above all nearer to the historical moment in which the text is written.
