Focus and scope

CUYO. Anuario de Filosofía Argentina y Americana is a biannual publication (June-December) of the Institute of Argentine and American Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National University of Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina). Among its objectives, the fact that it disseminates research works on Philosophy, History of Argentine and American Philosophy, History of American Ideas and related disciplines is especially mentioned. Since 1965 it has been a space for dialogue and critical analysis with scientific quality and academic rigor, aimed at a specialized reader, but also at the general public. The magazine contributes to the production of knowledge and dissemination of studies and research about the historical and cultural reality of Argentina, Latin America and at a continental level, from a specific and also interdisciplinary perspective that is derived especially from the Humanities and Social Sciences.
