Abstract

The paper presented here is made up of the story of a student experience, typical of the daily school life of a high school in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. From this, I elaborate some reflections on the current social and cultural context in key: thinking the time, to finish with some ideas and analytical reflections on the school in the contemporary landscape. The analysis is based on my master's thesis; other reflections arose from its elaboration, from talks, debates and exchanges carried out in the school, its corridors and classrooms and in conversations with colleagues and classmates, who were deepening conceptualizations and complexifying views, in the sense that knowledge is built collectively. I raise some of these ideas here to give theoretical support to the essay.
