Abstract

The article introduces first the notions of substance, system and structure in Heinrich Rombach’s phenomenology and the understandings of the world that are based on them. It then shows why the categories -through which Rombach analyzes the autogenesis of a structure- also describe the essence of the world conceived, from a cosmological perspective, as a vital event. Subsequently, it makes explicit this cosmological notion of world based on the ideas of origin and movement of self-configuration, deconstitution and structural reconstitution. It concludes by pointing out the ethical challenges that the cosmological understanding of the world poses in the ecological, existential and sociocultural order.

Estudió filosofía en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y en la Universität Freiburg i.Br. bajo la dirección del Prof. Dr. Dr. em. Bernhard Casper; Doctorado: Fundamentos, determinación y testimonio de la relación ética en el pensamiento de E. Levinas, Buenos Aires, 1996; desde 1998 Miembro del Centro de Estudios Filosóficos de la Academia Nacional de Ciencias de Buenos Aires; desde 2000 miembro del comité de doctorado de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste. Ex becario DAAD y Humboldt. Desde 2017 investigador Principal del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), autor de más de 155 publicaciones entre libros, capítulos de libros y revistas científicas de 16 países.
