Abstract

This issue of the Revista de Literaturas Modernas presents a variety of articles that explore diverse works and authors from multiple perspectives that are characterized by their topicality. These five articles propose readings that range from the re-reading of the gaucho montonera Martina Chapanay to the work Polifonía del 2001 by the Spanish Diana de Paco Serrano, including the work of the renowned Latin American essayist and intellectual Mario Benedetti; that of the prolific and committed narrator, poet, playwright, essayist and translator Fina Warschaver and without leaving aside the Mexican autofictions of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. In addition, this issue includes a review of the book Juan Filloy en la década del 30: Configuraciones de la Nación y sus identidades by Martina Guevara written by Ana Lis Señorena.
