Thematic dossier

Bring together articles, debates or issues on a common theme. It can be organized by guest editors or by researchers who wish to promote interdisciplinary dialogue or explore emerging areas of research. Submissions must be original and unpublished, and contribute to historical knowledge. All articles in the Dossier must not exceed 10,000 words, including footnotes, charts and tables, bibliography, and sources. Submissions will be peer-reviewed.

Free articles on American and Argentine History

Presents unpublished and original articles on American and Argentine history, referring to different temporal and spatial scales, from different perspectives and specialties. Articles are scholarly in nature and undergo peer review by two external reviewers. Submissions must not exceed 10,000 words, including footnotes, charts and tables, bibliography, and sources. Submissions will be peer-reviewed.

Notes, Interviews, and Commemorations

This section includes short pieces (up to 4,000 words) on topics related to the journal, interviews, commemorations, and commentaries on documentary sources. It is not peer-reviewed.

Bibliographic Criticism

This section reviews recently published books on the history of Latin America, the Americas, and Argentina, as well as contributions to the theoretical and methodological reflections on historiography. Reviews of publications released no more than two years prior to the submission date to the Revista de Historia Americana y Argentina should not exceed 2,000 words. It is not peer-reviewed.
