Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Be original contributions of the authors and not be published, totally or partially, or on a waiting list in another publication.
  • Be of a scientific nature and be carried out based on research on theoretical and methodological approaches to address literary theories and critical practices, in addition to their relationships with other disciplines.
  • The submission file is in .doc or .docx format.
  • In the case of the DOSSIER, the article responds to the proposed thematic line.
  • The review is based on books or magazines that deal with the theme of the magazine.
  • The text complies with the publication standards and guidelines published on this website.
  • Comply with international standards on conflict of interest and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to the Creative Commons license called "Attribution - Non-Commercial - Share Alike CC BY-NC-SA", through which the author allows the author to copy, reproduce, distribute or publicly communicate the work and generate derivative works, as long as it is cited and Please acknowledge the original author. It is not allowed, however, to use the work for commercial purposes.

Dossier

Monographic section usually coordinated by guest editors and made up of scientific-academic articles that undergo the peer review process. The minimum length for the body of the article is 5000 words and the maximum of 15000 words. Abstract, keywords, notes and bibliography should be included. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to admit exceptions regarding the length of the articles.

Articles

Esta sección reúne artículos científico-académicos sobre teorías literarias y prácticas críticas, además de sus relaciones con otras disciplinas. Los artículos enviados para esta sección se someten al proceso de evaluación de doble ciego. Extensión mínima para el cuerpo del artículo de 5000 palabras y máxima de 15000 palabras. Se debe incorporar resumen, palabras clave, notas y bibliografía. El Comité Editorial se reserva el derecho de admitir excepciones en cuanto a la extensión de los trabajos.

Interviews

This section includes interviews (with writers, artists, critics, researchers) related to the disciplinary field covered by the journal and to the specific theme of each issue, in the event that papers are called for monographic issues.

Junior Researchers

The objective of this section is to promote and make visible the trajectories that begin in research. Original and unpublished papers are received and submitted to the peer review process. Minimum length for the body of the article is 5000 words and maximum 15000 words. Abstract, keywords, notes and bibliography must be included.

Review

For this section, reviews of books within the disciplinary field of the journal (studies of literary theory, works of literary criticism, critical editions, etc.) that have not been published for more than two years, except in the case of relevant reeditions, are welcome. Maximum length of 3000 words. The details of the book must be complete, including: Title. Authors. City, Publisher. Year. xxx pp., ISBN if available, and an image of the book cover in .jpg format, which should be included as a complementary file when uploading the document to the platform.
