Author Guidelines

The journal receives, in addition to the content for particular calls for thematic dossiers, articles, reviews and interviews to writers or critics; related to the established focus and scope. The works must be original and unpublished. During the process do not forget to select the section for which you are submitting.

Neither the submissions nor their eventual publication implies any monetary charge for the authors, who (of course) may belong to institutions outside the publishing entity.

Submissions are made through the OJS system. To submit papers it is necessary to be registered in this journal by clicking here. If you already have a username and password enter here.

If you have problems with the submission, please contact revliteraturasmodernas@ffyl.uncu.edu.ar.

The journal checks that the various contributions do not incur in plagiarism, self-plagiarism or any other practice contrary to the ethics of scientific research and publishing. The Plagius software (https://www.plagius.com/es) is used.

General guidelines

- Typesetting: Arial 11 for the body of the text; Arial 10 for References; Arial 9 for endnotes.

- Single line spacing, with space after paragraph and no indentation. Leave space only before and after headings.

- When using images remember to write title, author and source.

Citation Guidelines

This Journal adopts the APA 7th edition citation format.

Each work cited must appear in the reference list and each work in the reference list must be cited in the text (or in a table, figure, footnote or appendix).

In-Text Citations

Short quotations

If you are directly quoting from a work, you will need to include the author, year of publication, and page number for the reference (preceded by "p." for a single page and “pp.” for a span of multiple pages, with the page numbers separated by an end dash).

You can introduce the quotation with a signal phrase that includes the author's last name followed by the date of publication in parentheses. If you do not include the author’s name in the text of the sentence, place the author's last name, the year of publication, and the page number in parentheses after the quotation.

Long quotations

Place direct quotations that are 40 words or longer in a free-standing block of typewritten lines and omit quotation marks. Start the quotation on a new line, indented 1/2 inch from the left margin, i.e., in the same place you would begin a new paragraph. Type the entire quotation on the new margin and indent the first line of any subsequent paragraph within the quotation 1/2 inch from the new margin. Do not add an extra blank line before or after it. The parenthetical citation should come after the closing punctuation mark.

More than 100 reference examples and their corresponding in-text citations are presented in the seventh edition Publication Manual: https://apastyle.apa.org/instructional-aids/reference-examples.pdf
