Aims and Scope

Revista FCA publishes original articles in English in the fields of agricultural sciences, food science, and renewable natural resources.

The journal’s thematic areas include Genetics and Plant Breeding; Ecophysiology and Crop Management; Natural Resources and Environment; Agricultural Economics and Policy; Plant Protection; Animal Production and Health; Agroindustrial Technologies; and Perspectives.

Peer-reviewed articles are published continuously online after acceptance and editing throughout the year, and are subsequently compiled into two issues released in June and December.

Revista FCA publishes the following types of contributions:

• Research Papers: Original theoretical, experimental, or field-based studies that make a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
• Scientific Notes: Short communications reporting results that require rapid dissemination, including preliminary findings, descriptions of new species or cultivars, reports of pests or diseases, and methodological improvements or adjustments.
• Review Articles: Invited contributions written by leading specialists in fields covered by the journal and commissioned by the Editor-in-Chief.

Revista FCA does not accept manuscripts previously posted as preprints, meaning that preliminary versions of submitted works must not have been uploaded to public repositories prior to journal submission.
