Focus and scope

Revista Melibea is dedicated to interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research on women's history, gender studies, feminisms, masculinities, and related topics and issues. Its objective is the development, consolidation, and dissemination of these studies in the academic field from different theoretical and methodological perspectives. Its research problematizes, discusses, and theorizes its object of study and produces knowledge and rigorous scientific dissemination from different areas of knowledge, originating in national, regional, and international contexts.
The Journal promotes work by established and/or emerging researchers and is aimed at a specialized or general audience interested in its topics and issues.
