Focus and scope

In its beginnings, the journal placed special emphasis on etymological studies, and subsequently broadened its thematic horizon to include works from various linguistic disciplines such as Sociolinguistics, Anthropological Linguistics, Psycholinguistics (especially the processes of comprehension and production of texts), Hispanic Philology, Grammar, Discourse Analysis (particularly academic-scientific), Applied Linguistics and Philosophy of Language, among others.
