Presentation to Dossier Brazil: Thresholds

Abstract

Four texts written by authors belonging to three generations of researchers are presented who consider Brazilian culture as one of the most important, if not the most important, object of reflection and that, for that very reason, has posed the challenge of rethinking their theoretical and critical devices incessantly seeing themselves, as critics, observed and questioned by the very object they observe.
