What Is Known About the Goddesses Potnia and Potniai Through the Tablets in Linear B

In the Mycenaean religion studies, there were different gods identified in the Mycenaean tablets in Lineal B, some of which had their cult still in practice even in the Greek archaic period. One of these divinities, the figure of Potnia, who has many attributes, took the interest of many academics though the years, because lives the question: what if this is one or many Mycenaean female goddess, or if it had a continuation of her cult in the ancient Greek time?
In this article, is made a compilation of the different mentions of Potnia in the Lineal B, that live us two big groups: the toponymic and the patronage bond. With these characteristics in mind, it is analyzing the possible evolution of this goddess in the archaic Greek religion, viewing the possibles Greek divinities that derived from this goddess with Mycenaean origins.
