Open Access Policy

The Revista de Historia Universal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. In this regard, the magazine adheres to:

Open Access (OA) is free access to information and unrestricted use of digital resources by all people. Any type of digital content can be published in open access: from texts and databases to software and audio, video and multimedia supports.

A publication can be disseminated in open access if it meets the following conditions:

  • It is possible to access its content freely and universally, at no cost to the reader, through the Internet or any other means;
  • The author or copyright holder grants all potential users, irrevocably and for an unlimited period of time, the right to use, copy or distribute the content, provided that due credit is given to his actor;

The journal does not charge authors for the services of evaluation, proofreading, editing and publication of accepted manuscripts, nor does it financially reward authors or reviewers for their contributions to the journal.
