Thematic Dossiers

Gather articles (up to 9,000 words), debates or problems on a common theme. This section can be organized by guest editors or by researchers who wish to promote interdisciplinary dialogue or new research areas. The works must be original and unpublished and contribute to the knowledge of universal history and related sciences. All the articles that make up the Dossier must comply with the general criteria (guidelines and rules for authors) of the articles and are subjected to peer review by two external evaluators.

Free Universal History Articles

It presents unpublished and original articles on universal history and related sciences, referring to different temporal-spatial scales, from different perspectives and specialties. The articles are of a scientific nature and are subjected to peer review by two external evaluators. Papers must not exceed 9,000 words, including footnotes, charts and tables, and a list of bibliographical references.

Notes, Conferences and Commemorations

It includes short writings (up to 6,000 words) on topics related to the magazine, interviews and comments on documentary sources.

Bibliographic Review or Criticism

It disseminates recently published books on topics of Universal History and contributions of theoretical-methodological reflection of historiography. Reviews cannot exceed 1,800 words.
