DOSSIER

This section brings together original, previously unpublished works on a specific topic proposed by the editorial team or by an Associate Editor, who will be responsible for the scholarly selection of the corresponding issue.

The Dossier will be published through a special call for papers announced in advance.

ARTICLES

This section brings together original, previously unpublished works on open topics, provided that they are related to studies in Art History and Culture.

The following submissions will be accepted:

  • Original research articles: present novel findings within a field of the arts.
  • Short articles, reports, or communications: preliminary research studies or thesis progress reports.
  • Case studies: describe and analyse findings of interest. Although they do not follow a rigid structure, they are usually organised into an introduction, case description, discussion, and references.
  • Papers or presentations delivered at scientific meetings or conferences: must be previously unpublished and will undergo peer review.

REVIEWS

Reviews are works devoted to recently published books in the subject area covered by Cuadernos de Historia del Arte. They may include a constructive critical assessment intended to contribute to scholarly discussion.
