This article examines the role of art in political resistance against populism and polarization in Argentina and Brazil. It explores how the social and political tensions in both countries affect contemporary artistic production, highlighting art's ability to challenge authoritarianism and promote democracy. The study follows a theoretical approach, avoiding detailed comparisons, and aims to understand the transformative potential of art in democratic crises. The research analyzes the impact of censorship, repression, and ideological control on cultural production, emphasizing the importance of art as a tool of resistance and a vehicle for social inclusion. The methodology involves a conceptual analysis of art as a response to political crises and its capacity to influence democratic discourse.
